Neville Whitting won his single final against Earl Pentolfe convincingly, winning him 4-0. Neville were once again on top of his game and also won the doubles final with his partner Tinus Grobbelaar against Nolan Arendse and Earl Pentolfe.

This also improved Neville's chances of winning the Player of the tournament trophy which he did.

Well Done to Neville And Tinus and the Lords DC team for their outstanding performances over the weekend.

Cathkin DC will once again sent a team to the Riversdale tournament in Riversdale starting on Thursday 11th November to 14th November' 2010. These members will include Charles Losper, Waleed Clayton, Nolan Arendse, Wade Aanhuizen, Donny Pickering, Kevin Maaneveld, Mark De Long and 3x supporters. These members will measure their strength against the likes of Lord DC, Saints DC, Unix DC, Sparks Dc and many more whom they have played against previously throughout the season. 

Cathkin started playing in the Hessequa club classics on Friday and lost their first two games against Falkons DC and Lords DC, thereafter they took Spartans DC from Gauteng to task and won that match 15-4. Then they played Glendale B and won 17-2, Glendale A 14-5. Double pairings will be Waleed and Charlie, Kevin and Wade and Earl and Nolan. So far things still look good for the team of Cathkin DC.

Latest standings for Cathkin DC is that they are currently in the second position on the log, with Nolan Arendse and Earl Pentolfe in the semi finals of the doubles competition and Earl Pentolfe in the finals of the singles competition. Earl and Nolan will take on Simon and Ivan Kleintjies in the semi finals of the doubles whilst Neville and Tinus from WP will take on Les Francis and Francious De Villiers from Pretoria. In the singles Earl will meet with Neville Whitting in the final of the singles.

Vicky Carnow of Swartland is playing against Betts of Helderberg in the ladies singles final.

Cathkin United Dart Club has achieved the following milestones for the 2010 season yet again.

MPRA - Winners: of the first round league, second round league, Overall league six years in a row, Champs of Champs and Knock out Champions.

Individual / Pairs: Veterans winner - Charles Losper; Doubles Winners Premier Division: Charles Losper and Wade Aanhuizen; Double winners A-Division: Kevin Maaneveld and Shane Cotton and 180 competition winner: Nolan Arendse.
